The consequences are then significant economic loss, delivery delays and frustrated customers. Maintenance concepts, however, cannot be limited to resolving errors and faults as quickly as possible alone. In fact, they also have to ensure that breakdowns are prevented from the start when possible. This module of the proven MES platform represents a practical response to the question of how to sustainably optimize system availability. "PM-SCADA Maintain" makes it possible to not only plan the preventative maintenance of all devices, systems and machines relevant for the production process, but also to carry out the plan in a targeted manner. As part of preventative maintenance management, the system provides information about planned, upcoming and recurring maintenance and inspection activities. The maintenance intervals can be set by time, production volume or machine runtime. The overall results of the maintenance and repair work are documented for later in-depth analysis as needed. In addition, it is possible to define threshold values. If the values are exceeded, a warning message is automatically sent to specified persons or the machine or system areas are even sealed.
